Disaster Relief · Hawaiʻi

Standing with Hawaiʻi: Our Donation to the Lāhui Foundation

When severe flooding struck Hawaiʻi earlier this year, we knew we had to act. The islands are not just a backdrop for surf culture — they are its heartbeat, its history, its home. The ʻāina is sacred, and so are the communities that care for it.

That's why we're proud to have donated to the Lāhui Foundation, a Native Hawaiian-led organization committed to the cultural, environmental, and community well-being of the Hawaiian people. When disasters displace families and damage land that communities have stewarded for generations, grassroots organizations like Lāhui are the first to respond and the last to leave.

Supporting Native Hawaiian-led recovery efforts isn't a one-time gesture for us — it's part of our ongoing commitment to honoring the culture that gave birth to the sport we love. Mahalo to everyone whose purchase helped make this possible.

If you'd like to learn more or make a direct donation to the Lāhui Foundation, visit their website. Our ocean community is global — and it starts with protecting the people closest to it.

Ocean Conservation · New Partnerships

Doubling Down on Ocean Cleanup: EcoDrive + 4ocean

Our oceans absorb our CO₂, feed billions of people, and generate the waves that connect us all. Keeping them clean isn't optional — it's urgent. This quarter, we significantly expanded our ocean cleanup impact through two powerful partnerships.

Our ongoing collaboration with 4ocean — the world's largest ocean cleanup company — means that every purchase from Do Good Surf Club directly funds the removal of plastic and trash from the ocean and coastlines. To date, 4ocean has pulled millions of pounds of trash from the sea, and our partnership puts our community's purchases directly to work in the water.

We're also thrilled to announce a new partnership with EcoDrive, a sustainability-focused organization that amplifies environmental impact through community-driven initiatives. Together, we're creating a multiplied effect: every order, every collab, every campaign becomes another opportunity to leave the ocean cleaner than we found it.

Why multiple partners? Because no single organization can solve ocean pollution alone. By working with both EcoDrive and 4ocean, we're building a layered impact model that tackles waste at the source, on the coastline, and in the open sea.

Shopping sustainably has never felt this good — or done this much good. Our sustainable swimwear and surf apparel is designed to last, which means less waste, and every purchase cleans up what's already out there.

Global Impact · Women's Empowerment

Empowering Women Worldwide: Donation to the Women's Global Empowerment Fund

Sustainability isn't only environmental — it's deeply human. A truly sustainable world is one where women and girls everywhere have access to education, economic opportunity, and the freedom to shape their own futures.

This quarter, Do Good Surf Club donated to the Women's Global Empowerment Fund (WGEF), an organization that works directly with women in Uganda and across sub-Saharan Africa to provide microloans, leadership training, and community-building resources. Their model is proven: when you invest in a woman, entire communities rise.

Surf culture has historically been male-dominated. We're here to change that — in the water and in the world. Supporting women-led economic development globally is one of the most meaningful ways we can live our values.

We are proud to be a brand whose customers are simultaneously supporting women entrepreneurs on the other side of the world. That's the kind of ripple effect we're here to create.

Community · Long Beach, CA

Roots in the Community: Revitalizing Stephens Middle School's Garden

Some of our most impactful work happens not in the ocean — but in the soil. In collaboration with the City of Long Beach, Do Good Surf Club organized and led a volunteer event to revitalize the community garden at Stephens Middle School. And the turnout blew us away.

Our incredible volunteers showed up ready to dig in — and together, we accomplished more than we imagined:

✦  Planted 4 new trees ✦  Built sturdy new trellises
✦  Planted corn and pea crops ✦  Constructed new raised garden beds
✦  Sowed seeds across multiple beds ✦  Created a dedicated workshop space

But the real impact goes beyond what we built — it's what this garden will teach. The new workshop space is designed to host youth programming on some of the topics we're most passionate about: sustainability, composting at home, nutrition, wellness, and mental health. We're also exploring bringing an ocean safety program and free surf lessons this summer to introduce these kids to the healing power of the sea.

Teaching kids to grow food, care for the environment, and understand their own bodies and minds — that's not just a community garden. That's the foundation of a generation that surfs, sustains, and thrives.

We are deeply grateful to the City of Long Beach and every volunteer who gave their Saturday to make this happen. The garden belongs to the students now — and we can't wait to see it grow.

New Collection · Spring 2026

Meet Golden Hour ✦

We're thrilled to announce the launch of our sustainable Spring 2026 collection, Golden Hour — inspired by that magic moment when the sun touches the horizon and the ocean glows. Every piece is crafted from ethical, eco-conscious materials, designed for the surfer who cares about what she wears and why.

Golden Hour is more than a collection. It's a reminder that beauty and responsibility belong together — in the water and out of it.

Coming Summer 2026 · Healing Through Surfing

What's Next: Surf Therapy Is Coming

We've always believed in the ocean's ability to heal — and this summer, we're making that official. Do Good Surf Club will be launching surf therapy offerings, bringing the clinically recognized benefits of surf and ocean immersion to people who need it most.

Surf therapy has been shown to support mental health, reduce anxiety and depression, build confidence, and foster community. Combined with our clinical roots in mental health and wellness, this is perhaps our most personal initiative yet.

More details are coming soon. If you or someone you know could benefit from surf therapy, or if you're interested in partnering with us on this program, reach out — we'd love to connect.

Every Purchase Is a Wave of Change

When you shop Do Good Surf Club, you're not just buying sustainable swimwear — you're funding disaster relief, cleaning oceans, empowering women, feeding kids, and healing communities. Thank you for being part of this.
